Blustein, Shapiro, Frank & Barone, LLP is proud to announce that four of its partners were once again selected to the annual Upstate New York Super Lawyers list: Managing Partner Michael S. Blustein and partners Richard J. Shapiro, Gardiner “Tad” Barone, and William A. Frank. The firm’s youngest partner, Megan R. Conroy, was also chosen to the Rising Stars list — her third consecutive honor — which acknowledges exceptional attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing law for 10 years or less.

Selections for both lists are made annually on a state-by-state basis through a patented, multiphase process created and led by experienced legal professionals. Attorneys are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, combined with independent research. Both lists are highly selective, with only 5% of attorneys in the state selected to Super Lawyers and 2.5% to Rising Stars each year. During this selection process, attorneys who earn the highest point totals are further recognized in Super Lawyers Top Lists, a prestigious honor highlighting the best of the best lawyers in a particular state or region.

This marks Blustein’s fifth consecutive year as a Super Lawyers honoree for his work in real estate law; Shapiro’s 11th consecutive selection for his accomplishments in elder law, along with his fourth consecutive inclusion on the Top 25 Hudson Valley list, and first-ever recognition on the Top 50 Upstate New York list; Barone’s 13th consecutive honor for his success in business litigation; and Frank’s eighth consecutive year as a Super Lawyers selectee for his work in state, local, and municipal law.
